Jericho fans send more than $40,000 worth of peanuts to CBS...

It looks as though the campaign to save Jericho by sending peanuts to CBS that was started here and on other sites has grown into a monster. A week after we started our campaign by saying "NUTS to you CBS" it was picked up by NutsOnline.com, they have really ran with the idea of Saving Jericho.

Originally when we started we were using any vendor we could find online to send peanuts and a lot of people were just send a few peanuts in an envelope to CBS. With the help of NutsOnline though we have been able to send out $40,000 worth of peanuts, which equals over 28,000 pounds. The only reaction I have is holy cow. Since receiving orders of peanuts NutsOnline has hand delivered 7,000 pounds of Nuts and has sent nearly 19,000 pounds of nuts via UPS to CBS. This does not include the additional 1,200 pounds of Nuts sent to CBS in LA.

While I whole heartedly support NutsOnline, I want to encourage people not to put all their Nuts in one boat. It is always helpful to use a variety of services to make yourself heard. Keep calling. Keep emailing. Keep writing letters. Lastly, keep sending peanuts. Try other online retailers as well so that we will not be confined to one vendor for all our Nuts. This way there will be a variety of packages coming in.

If we are to save Jericho we have to fight hard and not give up.
