Benefits of booking your hotel to MAX when you register...
I booked my hotel when I registered for MAX and got the discounted rate, but what was even better was that I wasn't charged on my credit card. The way that the registration will work is that if you opt-in for the discounted room you will pay when you get to MAX. Basically the room is on hold for you until you get there.
Why is this good? It is good because it would allow someone who's company wan't paying their way to possibly pay for the expense of the conference and airfare up front and then pay for their hotel room when they get there.
It might not help that much but it might let you spread the cost around a little bit instead of having to pay for your airfare, registration and hotel all at the same time.
