Few Days off...

Well, I am moved now to New York. I will try to post some more in the next few days as I start my new job and unpack. Moving with all my Star Wars toys was the worst part. After 5 years of working for a toy company you really don't ever realize how much stuff you collect. The majority of the stuff is Star Wars stuff, so I may be selling a large portion of it on Ebay or to a local collectables shop.

Want My Job?

Would you like to work for a toy company? One that owns GI Joe, Monopoly, Jenga, Xevoz, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic the Gathering and makes all the toys for Star Wars?

I am leaving soon, tommorow to be exact, but you should check out the job:

Monster.com

or directly on Hasbro's job board:

Hasbro's Career Section

You must know ColdFusion as well as Flash, it isn't a designer position though. You must be a flash developer with Remoting and Data Driven flash experience.

It is a great place to work, I only wish I could stay.

Good Luck.

Leaving A company I have worked at for 5 years...

Well, I am leaving Hasbro, as of this Friday. It is has been really a great place to work and have fun while I worked. The people there are top notch, but a little overworked at times.

I really do regret leaving, but since I am getting married in July I am going to be moving to NY. I will be working with a large interactive design agency in New York City.

Projects I worked on:

http://www.gijoe.com
http://www.xevoz.com
http://www.starwars.hasbro.com
http://www.tonka.com
http://www.candyland.com
and the list could go on and on.

I also spent a great deal of time working on the intranet when I first started and working with apps that aided in internal communications and in product development.
